My Video and Sony Pictures
22 CommentsBack in July 2007 I created a YouTube video called “December 21 2012 THE END” The primary purpose of the video was to bring attention to the coming events of 2012 and to help promote my website December212012.com. The original video which became very popular very quickly featured a song called “Only Time” by Enya. In March 2009 I was sighted by YouTube for copyright violation and the music was removed from the video. By then the video had received well over 7 million views and was the number one search result for information about 2012 on YouTube.
My original video with the original soundtrack has been copied and re-uploaded many times on various sites all over the web. You can view a Metacafe.com version below. . . but before you do I want you to carefully read and pay close attention to the opening line of text. I will explain later.
About the same time the original music was removed from my video and its search rank was dropped to almost nothing, Sony Pictures began their stealth campaign to promote the soon to be released movie “2012″. Along with the YouTube hosted movie trailers and the creation of the fictional IHC 2012 survival website, they introduced a blog and YouTube channel featuring a man name Charlie Frost. Played by actor Woody Harrelson, Sony’s fictional 2012 expert has made a number of YouTube videos about the coming events of 2012. You can watch them here.
The first video they published was called “Watch My Animation”. This crudely animated video, which was supposedly created by Charlie Frost himself, is brilliant in its attempt to represent Charlie as an amateur expert on the subject of 2012. When in reality, Sony is the brains behind Charlie Frost and this incredible marketing campaign.
Here’s where in gets interesting. . . After viewing the first few moments of my video “December 21 2012 THE END”, you read the following lines of text.
Never before in history has one date
one moment in time
been so significant to
so many cultures
so many religions
so many scientists
so many governments
and to so many people all around the worldNow I want you to take a look at Sony’s YouTube video and see if you hear any similarities.
Make of this what you will. Did Sony have something to do with getting the soundtrack removed from my video to assist in promoting their own agenda? Are the millions of dollars they stand to make from the movie “2012″ worth taking down someone like me who is trying to get the true word out about 2012, and what about Charlie Frost’s line”remember folks, you heard it first from Charlie Frost”? Did you really?
My YouTube video still gets a lot of views and has brought a number of subscribers to my YouTube channel. Although I could have protested the removal of the soundtrack from the video sighting educational content, the video has ran in complete silence for over six months, but that has now changed. Due to the continuing popularity of the video, I was recently offered $300 by a company named Track One to add their music to my video. I realize that by using their music, they have the right to run ADs on it, but at this point I don’t care. I took the $300 and applied it to my ever increasing hosting costs to keep my sites up and running. After-all, my primary goal is to get the word out about the coming events of 2012.

Wow, I definitely think your theory might be right on, as it’s almost word for word!! You came up with a great intro (obviously others think so too!!), and your video is beautiful.

With the advent of the film; 2012 just around the corner. The internet meme, prophecy, conjecture that is Dec 21 2012 is going to reach totally new levels of hype and publicity.
Only time will reveal the true truth behind 2012. I personally, welcome any change to this greedy, power mongering world with open arms, a I am a firm believer of this event.
We are on the cusp of great change people. Let us embrace this change with open arms, love and harmony.

So I have to say the panick is misdirected. It will not be the end of the world but the end of the world as we know it. When you make your statement about so many cultures and religions speaking of the same date, you are absolutley correct.
The reason for this is because this date was given as a time of return. You can take all the ufo sightings, movies, tv shows ect and you will find that much of it is to soften the panic for when ET comes home. Scoff if you must but the truth is, when you speak of end of days and the end of the world, the time has come when enough is enough and you will see that ET is going to set things back on course. Not really sure what the end game is going to be. I am sure there will be alot of poeple die from panic, riot or just plain stupidity.
When the dust settles I believe we are going to be given a choice to get with the program or be gone. The wars, diseases and poverty are going to become a thing of the past and population control will be enforced. If not there won’t be enough room, food or water to survive much longer anyway.
The bottom line is, Dec 2012 is when we will all know once and for all we are not alone.

i remember my mom tellin me when i was kids that when the population of human evolution raises. when there be no place to even walk freely. cars everywhere. wars, fights, hates is the time when world will end and those were the words her granny used to tell them when they were kids. so imagine how true it could be. i do believe that the world will end coz humans really did tortured this lovely planet ,did not even know the value of it until date.

believe it or not this year itself where i live experienced bunch of earthquakes which never happened before can u imagine 4 earthquake in 1 month? it scares the hell outa u to even sleep peacefully at nights, and since begining of this year until now i guess about 10 to 14 or maybe even more moderate earthquakes hit our area and a prediction has been made before 2010 we might have a huge one measuring 9. something in the richter scale. why do you think this is happening? for what purpose or reason? why only when 2012 is nearing why didn this happen before? well it did face quakes measuring 8.6 etc in 1896 and 1950 still i have i strong feeling these are the signs of the worlds end. oh im talking about the place called ASSAM
anyways its time to be a good human and treat eachother with love hope even the terrorists let us live in peace.

to make safe of your selves then create a good solid underground bunker with all supplies for your family in to it… -

Panicking is NOT the answer nor too much philosophy…Just get right to the point by getting ready to face what might comes!
So…get informed on how to react in order to face any kind of disaster, have an escape plan, invest in good survival equipment that can be carried in a sturdy backpack and have faith…START TODAY
All i can say is that there are plenty of lovely people living on this planet that deserve to survive and whatever the nation or culture, we must all help each other rather than wasting our energy in rubbish thoughts.LOVE AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL

I think the answer to will this happen, is that as we approach 21 Dec 2012 then earthquakes & volcanos will increase in intensity as the gravitational/magnetic pull increases on the earth, after that point it will decrease.
So is Haiti the first in a series of big eartquakes?
Will San Francisco get the expected big one soon?
Will the poles shift & what effect will that have?
Well I guess we will have to use our compasses differently. -

Its ashamed that a big company has to rip off an idea from an ordinary guy. Than after stealing the idea proceed to try and crush the ordinary guy instead of just trying to work some sort of compensation for it. My suggestion is to turn the tables on the bastards and apply for a job with sony’s competition and put all this on your resume because all of this proves that you have a very marketable talent. And that way you can make a lot of money in which you can spend on things you are passionate about like for instance getting the word out about 2012 even more effectively. One suggestion I have for you is look up free royalty free music on Internet so that someone doesn’t come along and sue you someday or at least get the permission of the persons music you are using. I am sure now that you have felt the sting of what has occurred you probably know that you should copyright your projects so you can be compensated for them. I am going through this process now with some of the stuff I am creating and wish I knew more about it. Your video was so much better than the one Sony created so hang in there and create more great stuff because you are becoming a trendsetter. I just noticed your Blog is copyrighted now do the same for your video’s

I think you have a very inflated ego, thinking that a company as large as Sony would go to such lengths as to remove or harm your little YouTube video. I doubt that you or anything you do would have any sort of affect on a major motion picture production.
I swear, humans can make up the weirdest stuff.
