   I find the idea of bothering with coffins for suck a large number in such a situation where that many would be needed in a short time, would only be a waste of resources, time and manpower. Also I feel that were we to be hit by an asteroid as what is predicted to happen in 2012, that a “survival” shelter wont really help anyone, as the astronomical amount of force from such an impact from anything larger than 3km in size would shear off enough of earths crust and disrupt enough in the atmosphere and such to make such attempts ineffective. That being said I myself do not believe that such an event will likely happen in my lifetime, rather i believe that the worst case scenario will be that we loose a couple billion dollar satellites. But I am no scientist and have no SOLID proof to back my beliefs in. Anyways live each day as if it were your last, and with no regrets.

   Thank God for te Oort Cloud that will save Us from a Gamma ray Continuous Burst Emitted From The Galactic Core in 2012

   The Oort cloud is an immense spherical cloud surrounding the planetary system and extending approximately 3 light years, about 30 trillion kilometers from the Sun. It is composed of comets of all sizes. Being 3 light years from the sun the Gamma Rays will hit and melt the frozen matter of the Oort cluoud a year and a half before it hits the Earth. The melted Gasses of the Comets will be pushed in front of the Earth and the Sun like a Tusami Tidal Wave and form a barrier that will save the Earth’s Biosphere from the effects of the 2012 Gamma Ray Burst.

   Since the Oort Cloud is 3 light years away from us and the sun we should start seeing the interactions of a Galactic Center emitted Gamma ray Beam and the Oort cloiud 3 years before 12-21-2012 or about a little more than a month from now.

   The reason why the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012 is because the Mayan civilization ceased to exist, poof!, they were gone due to the Spaniards conquering mesoamerica. They didn’t get to continue with the calendar. Also, civilizations before us did not have the technology, obviously, or science to understand all of the universe’s phenomena. If on December 21, 2012 the end of the world, as we know it comes, oh well. Just live your life to the fullest each and everyday, but isn’t that they way you are supposed to live it anyways. By the way this has nothing to do with God, or Shamans, or witch doctors. Just live your life the best that you can. Be positive, help each other, build a better world who is to say we will be here tomorrow.

   The Mayan calendar is cyclic. It is like a wheel, it does not stop but it continues on and goes full circle.

   One thing we must all learn is love and compassion for one another, no matter how bad people act, what they do or don’t do. We must learn forgiveness and sacrifice for everyone else, placing ourselves last.
   This is the lesson we as a planet must learn.

   The boxes resemble a cheaper version of a product I saw in the 60’s. The idea was to put a platform; ie the lid in the way your film showed the box, on the ground and cover it with a shell. If this is a similar product it was designed to replace the concrete box used to place coffins in. The idea was to prevent water entry to the coffin and the containers are stored in the position of use. The air pressure would keep the water from coming in. Turn a glass upsidedown and submerse it into water to see this effect. If I am correct these are not liners but covers.

   okay? look everyone is saying this astroid is gonna hit at 2012. now we can not say that for sure YET! it says in the bible that you dont no the day nore hour that the world is gonna end. god says the end of the world is going to hit when were not expecting it. if he wanted to he could do it right now. and it says in revilations that its not just going to be fire its gonna be a whole bunch of disasters. if you would read it, it will tell you all about this… go to judgement journey it will tell you that one day god will take his people they will just dissapear, and everyone even government will be wandering who did this some will say its aleins and such but if we no whats coming and if were ready then you will leave with god. And yall might not believe this but the people that gets left behind its not over for you. you still have time to get right with god. you will be stuck on earth for 7 years i believe it is with the anti christ. just be ready for the end of times. get saved live for god! it will be worth it i promise…

    look, a lot of people are right. god does has the power to end our lives whenever he chooses. people have been saying the world is going to end for the longest. and yet here we are. if something is going to happen on that date then its going to happen. what are you going to do about it? like quite a few people have said already. just live your lives as best as you can. remember if its our time then its our time. we’re in god’s hands. n if you havent made a relationship with god yet, then do so. its never too late. god is a loving and forgiving god. don’t live in panic or fear. just live…

    The 2012 date is real! The caskets are a small piece of a large puzzle. I will be posting clues on different sites but ask yourself, How much do 500K of these caskets costs? Do people just waste that kind of money on a hunch? Why Georgia? Where are the other locations of these coffins?

    No it isn’t wasted money, They will be used.
    Georgia?because after the waves wipe out the south eastern USA the bodies will be floating close by. Other caskets are being stored west of the Rockies.

    KALPA –THE HINDU TIME ELEMENT

    Having understood the concept of Ugadi (Yuga + Aadi) as a time element let us now try to understand the arithmetic of Hindu time element and certain related terminologies that will help us in understanding the time element called Kalpa Para that refers to the life span of the Universe and Lord Brahma. Reference to Hindu time element is said to have been scripted in many Vishnu related puranas like Maha Bhagavatha, Matsya Purana, Brahmanda Purana, Mahabharatha and Bhagavath Geetha.
    Hindu sages describe time as cyclic and an endless process of creation, preservation and dissolution. The Universe is cyclically created and destroyed. Hindu religion and
    philosophy which strongly believes in Vedas has clearly spelled out the time element of the universe at different levels. Understanding of time element in Hinduism is as old as the Hinduism itself. Several pouranic texts have mentioned about the time element in Hinduism.
    It is said that before commencement of Creation (Srushti) there was only water every
    where and Lord SriManNarayana the primordial person (Aadi Purusha) only was
    present in deep meditation. Desired (Sankalpa) to start the creation, He first created the Universeand Omkara from where the Vedas got originated. It is also said that Vedas are (swayambhu) Lord SriManNarayana himself. He then created Lord Brahma from his navel to take further the process of Creation.
    A Kalpa is a Sanskrit word meaning an aeon (immeasurably long period of time)in
    Hindu cosmology. In Hindu philosophy a Kalpa is equal to 432 crores of years. It is a
    day in the life of Lord Brahma. It is equal to 1000 Mahayugas measuring the duration
    of the world. Each Kalpa is divided into 14 Manvantharas each one lasting 306,720,000 years. Two kalpas constitute a day and night of Lord Brahma.
    A Kalpa is also called as Vedanga, the hand of VedaPurusha. Kalpa is also referred to
    as the Sasthra that involves one to carry out the injunctions of Kalpa. Various kinds of spiritual rituals to be performed come under the province of Kalpa. Kalpa is one of the six disciplines of Vedanga.

    YUGA

    Yuga is a period or an Era in which we live. As per Kalpa Pramana there are four
    Yugas viz. Krita Yuga known as Sathya Yuga which is also called as the Golden age an
    era of total virtue, Thretha Yuga called as the Silver age an era of 3/4th virtue, Dwapara Yuga called as bronze age with half virtue and half sin in its era, and Kali Yuga called as iron age (Black age) with 1/4th virtue and 3/4th sin in its era.
    Life span of these Yugas will not be equal. The Yugas get progressively worse from
    morality point of view as one proceeds from one Yuga to another. As a result each Yuga is of shorter duration than its previous one. It is as follows,
    Krita Yuga (Sathya Yuga) 1728000 years
    Thretha Yuga 1296000 years
    Dwapara Yuga 864000 years
    Kali Yuga 432000 years
    Total 43, 20,000 years

    MAHA YUGA

    One cycle of four Yugas (Krita, Thretha, Dwapara and Kali) is called as Maha Yuga
    (Chatur Yuga); its life span will be 43, 20,000 years. It is also called as a Divine Yuga.

    MANVANTHARA

    During every Kalpa Lord Brahma creates 14 Manus one after the other, who in turn
    manifest and regulate the world. Manvantharais Manu’s cycle the one who gives birth
    and govern the human race. Manvanthara is reckoned with the age or period ofManu.
    The period of each Manvanthara consists of 71 Mahayugas (Chaturyugas) that is 71 x
    4320000 = 306.720 million human years. After each Manvanthara there follows a Sandhi Kala of the duration of Krita Yuga years. (1728000). It is said that at the end of each Manvanthara it is followed by a Pralaya during the Sandhikala.
    There are 14 generations of Manus they are, Swayambhuva, Swarochisha, Outtama,
    Tamasa, Raivatha, Chakshuva, Vaivaswatha, Savarni, Daksha Savarni, Brahma Savarni,
    Dharma Savarni, Rudra Savarni, Deva Savarni, and Indra Savarni. At end of the 14th
    Manu, the cycle repeats again and Brahma creates fourteen additional Manus. Each
    Manvanthara will have a set of seven sages called Saptha Rishis who will live through
    out the Manvanthara period.

    KALPA

    A Kalpa is a day (12 hours) in the life of Lord Brahma. Each Kalpa is ruled by a
    succession of 14 Manus and the period of reign is called Manvanthara. A Kalpa (day
    period of Brahma) consists of a period of 17,28,000 years called Aadi Sandhi followed
    by 14 Manvantharas and Sandhi kalas that will be equal to 1000 Maha Yugas.
    One day (Kalpa) of Brahma is also divided into 10000 parts called charanas equivalent
    to 1000 Maha Yugas of 10 charanas each. Each Maha Yuga consists of 10 charanas (Krita Yuga 4, Thretha Yuga 3, Dwapara Yuga 2 and Kali Yuga 1 charana).
    A day of Brahma (Kalpa) is equal to 14 (Manvantharas) x 71(Maha Yugas) = 994 Maha Yugas + Sandhi kalas (equal to 6 Maha Yugas) = 1000 Maha Yugas. Sandhi kalais arrived at as follows; For 14 Manvanthara 14 sandhikala periods equal to the age of 14 Krita Yugas = 1728000 x 14 = 24192000 + 1728000 (Aadi Sandhi period) = 2,59,20,000 /43,20,000 years = 6 Maha Yugas. In terms of number of years, a Kalpa will be of 1000 Maha Yugas x 4320000 = 432 crores of years. A night of Brahma is of equal duration of another 1000 Maha Yugas = 432 croresyears. Thus a full day (day + night) of Brahma is the period of Two Kalpas equal to 2000 Maha Yugas (864 crores years)
    At the end of Brahma’s day time there will be a deluge (Pralaya) when the Universe will temporarily get dissolved by way of a Naimittika Pralaya. Then that will be the night time of Lord Brahma which will be equal to another Kalpa. During this time Lord Maha Vishnu reclines into meditative pose (Yoganidra) before Brahma starts recreation in the new Kalpa that will be the beginning of a new day for Lord Brahma. Thus in a full day’s cycle of Lord Brahma there will be creation during day time and destruction during night time.

    There are 30 Kalpas as per Matsya Purana which gets repeated cyclically. They are
    Swetha, Neelalohita, Vamadeva, Rathanthara, Rourava, Deva, Bruhath, Kandarpa,
    Sadhya, Eesana, Tamah, Saraswatha, Udaana, Garuda, Kaurma, Narasimha, Samana,
    Agneya, Soma, Maanava, Tathpuman, Vaikunta, Lakshmi, Savithri, Aghora, Vaaraah,
    Vairaja, Gouri, Maheswara, and Pithru Kalpa. It is said that Vayu Purana gives a
    different list of Kalpas which are 28 in number.

    Reckoning of time for Lord Brahma:

    In Bhagavath Geetha a day of Lord Brahma has been defined as 1000 Maha Yugas
    (Sahasra Yuga paryantham ahar-yad brahmano vidhuh meaning a day of Brahma is of
    1000 Mahayugas). According to Mahabharatha 12 months of Brahma is equal to 360
    days that constitute his year and 100 such years is his life time and that is the life cycle
    of the Universe.
    Fifty years of Brahma are supposed to have been elapsed and we are now in the 51st
    year of Lord Brahma in Swetha Varaha Kalpa. At the end of the Kalpa, Brahma rests for one night that is equal to the day during which time the world is annihilated
    (destroyed) that is called as Pralaya.
    As per Vedamana the life span of Lord Brahma is said to be 100 years called as Brahma Kalpa. Though Brahma Kalpa had started from the day of his origin, first half of his life (50 years) was spent in knowing and understanding the tatvaof Lord SriManNarayana. As per the directions of supreme Lord Sri Maha Vishnu, Brahma started creation in his 51st year that is the current year in the life of Lord Brahma. Life span of Lord Brahma is reckoned as follows in terms of human years

    • 1000 Maha Yugas = 1 Kalpa = 1 day (12 hours) of Lord Brahma = 432 crores of years
    • 2000 Maha Yugas = 2 Kalpas = 1 day (24 hours) of Lord Brahma = 864 crores of years
    • 30 such days of Brahma = 30 x 864 crores of years = 259.2 billions years = 60 Kalpas
    • 12 such months (one year or 360 days) of Brahma = 12 x 259.2 billions years = 3.1104
    trillions years = 720 (360+360) Kalpas
    • 50 such years = 1 Paraarddha = 50 x 3.1104 trillion years = 155.52 trillions years =
    36000 Kalpas
    • 2 such Paraardhas = 100 years of Brahma = 311.04 trillions years = 72000 Kalpas
    As per the above arithmetic life span of Lord Brahma will be 311.04 trillions years.

    Reckoning for the Current Date:

    (The time elapsed since the current Brahma has taken over the task of creation)
    Some of the words in Sankalpa sloka that we recite daily during Sandhyavandana or
    before commencement of any divine prayer or ritual contain the time element viz.
    Aaadhya Brahmana, Dwiteeya Parardhe, Swetha Varaha Kalpe, Vaivaswatha
    Manwanthare, Kaliyuge, Prathama Pade, Salivahana Sakhe. In these words there is
    reckoning of the current date as per Vedamana since the birth of Lord Brahma.

    Aaadhya Brahmana Dwiteeya Parardhe:

    That means first half of the life time of Lord Brahma is over and we are in the 2nd half called Dwiteeya Parardhe in the 51st year of Lord Brahma (50 years of Lord Brahma is equal to 155.52 trillions human years)

    Swetha Varaha Kalpe:

    That means we are in the first day (only day) called Swetha Varaha Kalpa in the 51st
    year of Lord Brahma. In Swetha Varaha Kalpa (first day of Lord Brahma) after passing through 6 Manvantharas out of 14 we are currently in the 7th Manvanthara called Vaivaswatha Manvanthara. In terms of number of years after taking into account the sandhi kalas we have passed through 185.2416 crores human years (4320000 x 71 x 6) + (17,28,000 x 7) in the current Kalpa (during the previous six Manvantharas)

    Vaivaswatha Manvanthare:

    And in the current Manvanthara (Vaivasvatha) we have passed through 27 Maha Yugas out of 71 and we are currently in the 28th Maha Yuga. That means in this Manvanthara we have passed through 11.6644 crores human years during the last 27 Maha Yugas.

    Kali Yuge:

    In the 28th Maha Yuga after passing through the three periods viz. Krita, Thretha, and Dwapara Yugas comprising of 38,88,000 human years we are currently in the 4th Yuga that is Kali Yuga, in which we have already passed through 5110 human years out of the Kali Yuga span of 4,32,000 years. As per scripts it is said that Kali Yuga had begun 3102 years BC.
    Counting from beginning of the Kalpa it is (185.24 + 11.67 + 0.39 + 0.005) =197.30 crores human years since commencement of creation by Lord Brahma. That also means out of 432 crores years in the current Kalpa we have already passed through 197.30 crores of years and still 234.70 crores of years have to pass through before end of the Kalpa.

    Salivahana Sakhe:

    Further reckoning down based on the concept of Sakha, after passing through the
    Yudhistira and Vikrama Sakhas we are currently in the Salivahana Sakha 1931 years
    since its beginning in 78 AD.

    Tabulating the above it is reckoned as (taking the year 2009 as the base)
    • 311.04 Trillions human years is the life span of current Brahma (100 Brahma years)
    • 157.49 Trillions human years since the origin of current Brahma (153.55 trillion years still left)

    • 197.30 Crores years since the beginning of the Swetha Varaha Kalpa, the time
    since creation started (234.70 crores years still left in the present Kalpa)
    • 12.06 Crores years since the beginning of Vaivaswatha Manvanthara (18.61 crores
    years still left in the current Manvanthara)
    • 38.88 lakhs years since the beginning of this 28th Maha Yuga (4.27 lakhs years till left in this Maha Yuga)
    • 5110 years since the beginning of the present Kali Yuga (4,26,890 years still left in the current Yuga)
    • 1931 years since the beginning of Salivahana Sakha

    It is said that after the life span of Lord Brahma it will take another 100 Brahma years
    before a new Brahma is born. It is also said and believed that Lord Hanuman is going
    to be the future Brahma after the expiry of the life span of the current Brahma.
    We would have heard or come across statements or news items like the world is coming to end, Pralaya is coming, it is going to be a dooms day, soon the world is going to disintegrateetc., Latest of such statements is that the year 2012 is going to be an end of the world. Behind all its realities, such statements are definitely going to create lot of confusion, chaos, scare, anxietyamong the world population. While most of the non Hindu cultures base their cosmologies on familiar units such as few hundreds or thousands of years, Hindu concept of time element based on Vedic scripts believes on immeasurable period of time lasting billions and trillions of years.
    Universal repositioningtakes place whenever celestial splendors like Eclipses occur.
    Astronomically lot of changes do takes place in the universe and all such may not and
    need not lead to a dooms day. Above arithmetic shows that still 18.61 crores human
    years have to pass through before end of the present Manvanthara when it is expected
    to be a deluge(Pralaya). So as per this study one can be assured that cyclical end of the
    Universe is far away and it is a long way to go for a dooms day.

    One should always remember the fact that nothing is permanent in this world even the Universe, or even Lord Brahma (Creator). The only permanent entity is the Primordial Person Lord SriManNarayana the creator of Brahma. In Phalastuthi of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Sthothram, Lord Brahma describes Lord Maha Vishnu as

    ! Namostvananthaya Sahasramuurthaye! SahasraPaadaakshi Sirorubaahave!
    ! Sahasranaamne Purushaya Saswathe! SahasraKoti Yugadhaarine Namah!!

    Salutations to the Infinite, one who has manifested as innumerable number of forms,
    who has innumerable feet, eyes, heads, arms, one who has innumerable number of
    names, who is an eternal person, and who holds thousands of crores of Yugas which are uncountable.

    NB: One billion = 1000 million = 100 crores – One trillion = 1000 billion = 100000 crores

    Annexure

    Sakha Karthas of Kali Yuga:

    The legends says that in Kali Yuga six Kings will create new eras (Sakhas) which will be named after them. They are,
    • Yudhistira Sakha (Dharmaraja): His calendar started in the year 3102 BC continued
    for 3044 years.
    • Vikrama Sakha: His calendar started in 57 BC continued for 135 years
    • Salivahana Sakha (current period): His calendar started in 78 AD and will continue
    for 18000 years.
    • Vijayabhinandana Sakha (future coming): His calendar will start in 18078 AD and
    will continue for 10000 years.
    • Nagarjuna Sakha (future coming): His calendar will start in 28078 AD and will
    continue for 4, 00,000 years.
    • Kalki Sakha (future coming): His calendar will start at the end of Kali Yuga 4, 28,078
    AD and will run for 821 years when the Kali Yuga will come to an end.

    Time Element for other Entities

    For Devathas:

    One day for Devathas = One human year comprising of two half years.
    Brighter half of the day is called as Uttarayana
    Darker half of the day is called as Dakshinayana.
    12000 years for Devathas is equal to one Maha Yuga (Chatur Yuga) for human beings.

    For Pithrus (Ancestors)

    1 day of Pitru = One human month (comprising of two fortnights).
    Brighter fortnight (sukla paksha) is day time for Pitrus.
    Darker fortnight (Krishna paksha) is night time for Pitrus.

    I live in the Uk- Im starting to worry lots about all this speculation especially after watching the film 2012 last night!! I live for today and think everybody should do the same however I do not want to die I want a family and marriage and all the rest of the things you dream as, as a little girl!!!! That my sound silly as I know its out of our hands and upto god, but I hope this is all speculation is very much wrong. Can I ask the same as sue did? Is there anywhere to hide or anything we can do to have any chance of survival at all if this date in december 2012 is really going to take place as the end of the world? Please reply xx I remember having all these same feelings/ panic attcaks when they said all the exact same things that are being said now re the milleniun in 2000. This is my worst nightmare- Of course xxxx

    Ok people, just some things we do know, our goverment, is very secretive, they dont tell us everything for socalled national security, thats bull, they know something. Second, there have been so many “doomsday theorys” that have come to pass, and we’re all still here, BUT, we really dont know anything unless we’re told, and who’s telling us what? Our great goverment has several underground installations across our country for high ranking officials, and they wont say boo to you or me, due to the fact of mass panic, What we all really have to do is, weigh up the facts that we do have, and really we have none. Just because a lost civilizations calender ends at a certain date, doesn’t mean the skys fallin. A few things I’ve read are, when we see 2 suns in the sky its a sign, and that NASA has been monitering a large mass outside our solar system since the 80s, Im sorry I just cant buy into it. Although I have to be honest, it is in my thoughts daily and it just makes me more and more curious where this all started. If our goverment knows something and they do keep it a secret untill its to late, then there will be a mass revolution against those who choose to be in our goverment, Our military wont do anything due to the fact that there familys are the people that will be revolting, so what to do? Well all we can do is hope its all crap and slowly prepare for some thing we dont know will take place, with that being said, I still feel we need more proof, but again who’s gonna give it to us?

    look, i”ve been really terrified lately about this whole thing, i watched a show last night about the whole thing.
    But then i realized Who are they to say when we will die, It is gods choice, i would not be shocked if it did happen with all the dispear in the world, with the war, drugs, teens going crazy, its going downhill . If i was god i would be pissed. Apparently the world was suppose to end in 2000 everyone was just as scared as they are now, and its 10 years later. just believe, you will see the signs And those who believe in god will not suffer and have everlasting life. Dont be worried God is good!! =D

    I’m not worried about it. What ever happens is going to happen and there is nothing we can do about it. I know where I stand with God so I know where i’m going if I die or if Jesus comes back, I’ll be going home with him!

    Ok people I am 17 and think this is just like high school drama …………………everyone says the weather will kill us the planet x will ,wars,goverment,bible,story telling passed on and on …I just love how people think that the bible is real you know how old that is ? tons of years old and remember when you were kids and your grandparents would tell you stories about stuff that happen to them but put more info in it to make it better to keep you interested…thats what the bible is its a story that was twisted and turned into somthing that sounds good to pass on and kept getting added to… to make it better.(sorry to the people who think its all real,and also I am a christian until my friends familys and family started pushing it down my throat when I started thinking each bible has a dif story, no one knows if jesus was real where is the real body where is the grave? ) and the goverment I know its going to pot no one wants to work at helping the people find jobs houses and lifes,They have to go out and help everyone around here like yeah its ok to help but when you go spend billions of dollars on a country that has money and jobs for everyone why the hell is the USA helping them I think the USA needs to start working at home instead of working around it and hiding from the problems in their own back yard. the goverment has made my life suck when I was 13-14 my dad lost his job from his own dad and we lost our house we built bcuz there is no jobs, I loved that house it was mine then found out someone got it for only 125,000 when it was worth 300,000 at a court sale, soo yeah I been there n done that and I am 17 years old I been in a lot my dads a drunk n thinks its better to drink then work n also my mom has ms yeah its nice to have that cuz i might also..so don’t tell me I don’t know anything I lost my childhood,got a drunk druggy dad live with my grandparents in a small house with 3 dogs 3 cats a turtle n 6 people ,been abused used and raped by my 1st boyfriend. I am worried about 2012 but then I am not, If somthing is going to happen fine let it. we get hit with trouble everyday but most of it isn’t posted for everyones eyes to see…no1 gives a crap what anyone thinks. everyone says we are 1 but we are not we are at war still!!!! The guys n girls need to pack their stuff n come home there is no sense they are fighting after everything is ok,why can’t the gov,pull them out why can’t they come home? I been a marine and army girlfriend and there is a lot of stuff normal people can’t handle to listen. NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN IN 2012, it might be a blizzard in ohio, might be a thunder storm in Tennessee a earth quake in California,who knows it might be a Fart in the wind no one never knows so many people just think its going to happen because what they see online and I could go make a web site and say oh my god the worlds gonna end on june 6,2066/or what about 2099…no one knows so people need to chill for a little and just see what will happen that day everyone needs to chill out about the 2012 stuff its just wrong to make little kids think omg my life is going to end and go kill their selfs due to somthing they read online. we all need to go back to the way it was b4 the internet have kids play outside and be normal and have familys that were like us kids in the 70-90s but the kids now re-lie on the computer for life and cell phones we all need to think what happend to our lifes changing when the computer come out.it changed everyone somehow so hey 2012 might be a new computer or cell phone model that will change the world for the worse.But hey who ever reads this I hope you get a little what I ment…

    I think that 2012 “Dooms Day” is a misunderstanding! Even if you don’t believe in God He still has a reason for everything. If you think about 12/21/12 which is the day the world is suppose to end, on the discovery channel they studied it and they said it looks as if it ment a ending of one kind and begining of another.. If you really think about it that could also be The Rapshier! Gods point of the Rapshier was to bring all the Christian up to live with him and leave all the Non-Believers down on Earth.     i dont believe that the world is going to end in 2012, i mean i remember when it was new years eve of 1999 and people use to think that plans where going to fall out of the sky, and they didnt.
    I believe the only thing that will destory this world is war. Now a days no one seems to care as much, they dont help someone when they drop something or help an elder person cross the street instead we allow our children to play games such as modren warfare and tahts where all this violnce is learned. I think everyone just needs to work togther, help those in need, maybe then there will be something to look forward to

    The Federal government , including Congress et.al., seem bent on changing everything that we have known here in the U.S. Additionall, they could care less if the people don’t want the change. They also don’t seem to be concerned that they will not be re-elected in the next cycle. Obama said two days ago in an interview overseas, “I don’t think I will run again in 2012. ” Could it be there will be no future elections? Will the enormous national debt mean nothing for there will be no one to pay it and no one to pay it to?

    I did not believe the hype for 2000. When it comes to 2012 I am not so sure it is fallacy. There is a “mood” or a “feeling” in the country that is an uneasy one. We’re waiting for something to hapen, even thought we don’t know what it is. People are “unsettled” “uneasy” and “uncomfortable.” A sense of security evades us.

    Since I believe in the spiritual world, that which exists even though we don’t see it, I believe that is where these abnormal feelings are coming from. We are being prepared for the worst or at least, change.

    I have begun to prepare, little by little. I’m older so my sense of self preservation is less than that of a young man or woman. My concern is for my children and grandchildren.

    As others have sai, I would make sure that you are right with God.

    It really feels as if something is going on, but no one really knows what it is.
    I happen to like the Polar reversal theory, as I can just imagine what would happen with a sudden stoppage of electricity. You think we are a civilized people?
    Even now, we are facing a loss of crops due to lack of bees to pollinate. We have a mysterious fungus killing bats, which may lead to an increase in insect invasion. We have various kinds of viruses and bacteria that produce infections much worse than before.
    It’s kind of hard to get excited about an ancient calender that simply shifts over. I can remember a ‘prophecy’ that the planets were aligning back in 1984, and this was a BAD thing. Global Warming is not anything the government can or should try to do anything about.
    Listen to Coast to Coast, which covers a lot of this and other exciting paranormal events.
    And to the younger folks — Do not be distracted into paralysis by all this. Keep an eye on it, though. Some type of future is on its way, but we really cannot know it.

    my name is harry,im 33 now,since i was a child,ive had visions of the end of the world,i dont know why,i just seemed to have them.
    A child of 6yrs old has no concept nor ideas about the end of the world,so as i got older,it got worse.
    I also grew up in an era where people helped each other,now i live in an era where greed and selfishness thrives.
    I want to tell you of my vision,so that someone knows of it,and take it anyway you want,thats ok,im not here to offend……in my vision,something happens that i cannot explain,people dissapear,maybe due to illness,like plague,but i know that a world wide panic will happen,and ill be left with bad people,having to try and survive.why im left and why i survive i dont know?but ive felt like this since i was very young.

    Now i dont know about GOD,if hes real or not,but i do beleive that there is someone in charge of this whole show(and it aint us) nor do i know if its going to to end in 2012,but i know its going to end,and not for everyone,those left are going to go through hell,killing and trying to survive like some mad max movie.
    If im wrong and i was just dillusional as a child,id like to know how and why a child could think this up or even come up with the concept of an apocolyptic idea.

    If people can predict the destruction of the world from the end of a calender and the production of a 21st century film then I think its crazy. How can one possibly predict the end of the world to be one specific date exactly?
    Nevermind God, the world was not built in 7 days but through a scientific theory known as the big bang!
    To me its just speculation and no-one can be sure exactly when the earth will come to blows but theorising that people will survive and fight for it has just derived from films released in cinemas. They only ask “What if” and don’t determine our future.
    Sure there is a lot to be said about Global Warming and the amount of disasters waiting to happen however you could get hit by a bus tomorrow. I’m not saying I don’t believe in theories of how the world will end but to say it will be 21/12/2012 is a little bit much for me personally…

    I really don’t know what to believe to be qute honest. I have a 7 month old daughter, that is my world, and a wife that i love very much, and to think that i may not be able to protect them from this possibiltiy makes me sick. Now i remember in 1999, everyone was waiting for the computers to crash, the end of the world was right around the corner supposedly, during Y2K-It came and went. What i think about the Mayan calender and what will happen is this.

    Calenders, and life itself is cyclical. When one year ends, another begins. People talk about a change, sure. A change could mean the start of a new year as well. Not the destruction of earth and mankind as we know it. A lot of this comes from the government trying to de-sensitize us, and lead us into believing that if we give someone our life savings, and trades the homes we live in for a subterranean condo somewhere, then we will all be saved. You could build condos as far down as you could dig, and that still wouldn’t help.

    If something were to happen, it will happen. If God does indeed choose to end this world, then no one can do anything about it. Don’t be affraid to live your lives. Once you do, you will have bought into this hysteria, and wouldn’t we be already dead if we just gave up, and letthis madness take us over? Give your love to God, and realize when the time is right, he will give us eternal life, and protect those who follow him. Until that day, there’s no need to speculate or live in fear. Live your lives to the fullest, and love like you never loved before, and live your life as you choose, not how the government or anyone else chooses.

    Later this year there will be a big hurricane over Virginia and North Carolina in the first week of August.
    Next year there will be a hurricane over northern California and southern Oregon. If that hurricane happens in the first two weeks of August, there will be a gargantuan hurricane in the southern United States. This hurricane will be devastating.
    2012 will be mild in comparison, though it will have lots of rioting.

    As far as 2012 itself is concerned, you’ll see people be crazier than usual.

    I am a mother of 3 boys and I am terrified…I often lay awake at night and ponder my helplessness should something happen. i am torn between preparing (which I cannot really afford) and just dismissing it as a hoax to save my sanity. I am wondering if there are safe places to go should this happen…safe zones or what not. I have heard people say higher ground, but what constitutes higher ground…how high? I don’t care if I die in the events…just as long as my children are safe and secure. I believe in God…but am not a big church goer. I just want to sleep right again, but I look at my boys sleeping and I get sick to my stomach wondering. I have already thought about what age they will be at that time and how little they got to experience. I also wonder…do I go Christmas shopping that year? I am verging on depression and panic…some comforting words would be great someone…

    alot of what you would need in any disaster you allredy have aroud your house or even your car you dont need to spend several hundred dollars. if any thing happends it will be by the people who are freaking out about this whole mess insted of calming down makeing a plan and being prepared for what ever comes our way be strong be healthy and be ready you dont have to go to church to belive in god. god love you and your just as much as he love any saint

    i think that is very depressing how horrible this world has become, if people would just leave this world alone then MAYBE just MAYBE we would be fine. I dont understand how someone could just be so careless, i believe this may happen if people dont change their ways. God will choose what is best for us & i hope it wont happen because my little one will be almost 3 and i just cant imagine what is supposed 2 happen…I hope this world can change & become less self filled and change for the better of everybody!

    Whatever happens in 2012 or any other year or day for that matter is irrelevant; We’ve all got to die at some time. Life is just the journey to death… So why fear the inevitable? The only truth that matters is that we are immortal. We carry on in some form after death. If earth WAS destroyed today or tomorrow, it simply doesn’t matter. Just a part of the cycle of experiences we encounter as sentient and (eventually) spiritual beings. So what’s to fear?

    what we must remember is the truth of who we really are. we are spiritual beings having a human experience. this world we live in, the earth we inhabit, is continuously evolving. unfortunately, the human race has not taken care of what God has provided us with. and we certainly have not taken care of eachother. essentially (on some level we all know this truth) we have lost our purpose, that is to say, we have lost God. as opposed to evolving into higher evolved beings, we have fallen behind.
    I agree with many of the predictions, and I certainly agree that we must prepare but not become consumed. life as we know it to be now, WILL change come the days of 2012. one could say, is that such a terrible thing?
    we are immortal. we do not die, we merely change form. so love life each day and LOVE with all that you are.
