Is the world really going to end on December 21 2012?
Is the world really going to end on December 21 2012? That is perhaps the most frequently asked question I receive from visitors to my website www.December212012.com. The short answer is most likely no. We as human beings have no possible way of knowing when and how our planet will end. However, we are smart enough and intuitive enough to know when sure and imminent danger is near, and we must be willing to recognize and react to signs of coming change. More importantly we must realize that our entire universe along with our very existence runs in cycles, and evidence of these cycles has been scientifically proven and their recurrence is inevitable. Based on my research and studies into the many theories, prophecies, predictions and facts surrounding 2012, I have come to realize that our world is not set to completely end anytime soon. However, we can be certain that some very dramatic and devastating changes are coming, and these changes will most definitely represent the end of the world “AS WE KNOW IT”.We are currently and unquestionably immersed in the final years of a thirteen-year global tribulation that began on the winter solstice 1999 and will reach its ultimate conclusion on December 21 2012. During this period of unrest and uncertainty we will become witnesses to a gathering storm of events that will slowly and systematically redefine our existence on this planet. These events will come in the form of both natural and manmade disasters as well as social, economic and religious upheavals, and will most definitely effect every living being on the planet. When featured on the local, network and cable news outlets, these events will be described in terms such as “never before seen”, “worst on record”, “apocalyptic” and yes, “the end of the world”.
As the days continue to countdown to Dec. 21 2012, we will begin to experience a number of natural disasters and unprecedented weather events such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, droughts and many other extraordinary life threatening natural events. Although our planet has always experienced nature’s destructive wrath in one form or another, these disasters will become increasingly more frequent and significantly more intense then any we have ever experienced. Along with the increased property damage and economic losses associated with these disasters, the lose of human life will increase exponentially. As these extreme weather events continue to develop, they will help to significantly increase global famine, disease, pandemics and many other forms of human suffering. Massive floods will devastate, extreme heat will decimate and intense fires will incinerate the very ground on which we stand. Tornadoes will strike in uncommon places and at uncommon times of the year. Severe thunderstorms with intense lighting and uncommonly strong winds will become more prevalent, and the earth will rumble with unusual and unidentifiable sounds of stress.
In addition to natural disasters, mankind itself will initiate its own near destruction through the use of social, economic, chemical, biological and nuclear warfare. In a push for power and global domination you will begin to see the world governments respond to perceived threats from other nations with unprecedented force and extreme violence. This continuing show of force will undoubtably lead to a third world war and sure nuclear destruction of many highly populated regions. Many wars will be waged in the name of religion and ethnic cleansing, while others will be initiated to spawn a perceived one-world government to oversee a desired new world order. We will continue to be subjected to both petty and potentially life-altering laws, rules, regulations and religious initiatives designs to keep us preoccupied with day-to-day social, economic and health related issues. Our continuing insecurities will be intensified by an unscrupulous power base of leaders whose primary goal is to deliberately instill near chaos in the form of social and economic unrest. This continuing unrest will be artificially and irrevocably addressed through the implementation of ever increasing taxes, diminished human rights and a desire to keep us in perpetual debt and in a constant state of insured domestic poverty an insecurity.
All of the life threatening, human suffering and earth changing events that are and will continue to take place throughout the tribulation are simply a prelude to a much larger human and planetary disaster. These events in their entirety should and will serve as a preemptive warning of a single global catastrophic event expected to take place at exactly 11:11 GMT on December 21 2012. Science has made reference to a number of possible devastating earthly events such as a Yellowstone super volcanic eruption or a polar shift that could take place in a matter of moments. Other dangers from the sky such as enormous asteroids, increased and violent solar activity, the emergence of Planet X or Nibiru, and the possible devastating effects of a planetary alignment have been well documented and studied by scientists around the world. All of these scenarios have been proven viable and very relevant to the times in which we live. Any one of these events or a combination of many would bring unprecedented global destruction. Human life would dramatically be effected and millions, even billions will die. Although no one knows exactly what this coming catastrophe might bring, we can be sure that the outcome will be dire.
The coming global cataclysm is in no way unique to our existence on this earth. As part of a universal cycle of near destruction, our planet and its population has experienced some form of renewal many times before, and it appears we are in line to witness this extraordinary event once again. The coming event is very real and has been foreseen and foretold by most all ancient civilizations and religions throughout the world. Although the basic scenarios and possible implications very, the final outcome remains consistent in all cases. The ancient Mayans and Aztecs refer to this coming event in terms such as the entering of the fifth world or fifth sun. The Hopi Indians call it the great purification. Christianity calls it the Rapture. Islam sees it as the coming of the Mahdi. The Hindus believe we are in the final moments of the Iron Age, which is the last of four periods known as Kali Yuga. Astrologers call it the coming of the Age of Aquarius which is representative of a cleansing of the earth. In addition, interpretations of many ancient and modern day oracles and prophets of doom also see the coming events. The Chinese book of Changes (I-Ching) sees it as the end of history. The Bible Code, The Web Bot Project, Nostradamus and many others also have provided us with the necessary signs of coming devastation. NASA has confirmed increasing solar disturbances that will reach their peek in late 2012, and even Albert Einstein spoke about the possible implications of the coming astronomical anomalies.
We as human beings are instinctually aware of the coming changes. If you haven’t already began to experience it, very soon you, as an individual will begin to notice an increased sense of awareness and understanding of the inevitable. Many attribute this increased awareness to a possible chemical enhancement of human DNA, while other believe these abilities have simply been suppressed and denied over time and are slowly being revealed in order to prepare us for sure and sustainable change. These feeling and signs of utter dread and impending doom will begin to manifest themselves in many ways, and will effect an ever increasing number of people as we get closer to December 21 2012. Some will see this as a spiritual awakening, while other will experience a remarkable ability to foresee coming events through dreams, meditation, moments of déjà vu and gut Instinct. Your individual increased perceptions will be small an insignificant at first and will be dismissed as coincidence or chance. You may for example have a passing thought about an old friend, and that person will contact you. You may briefly think about a song from your past, and that song will play on the radio. You may experience an increased ability to associate particular smells with past events, and many will see a significant reoccurrence of the numbers11:11. As these events become increasingly more common and more relevant, you will come to realize their importance to coming events.
Some people believe that I along with many others are intentionally and deliberately trying to scare people with our web sites, books videos and messages of coming doom, and in many ways they may be right. Much like your local weather person who warns you of possible inclement storms, we are simply trying to inform you that this threat is very real and conditions are right for a global cataclysm that could redefine life, as we know it. However harsh and unsavory you may find this information to be I am confident that the ends will most definitely justify the means and your survival and continuing existence may very well depend on it. You need to look no further then the television network and cable news or newspaper to realize that something very unusual and very unsettling is taking place all around the world. Our social and moral values are in decline. Our global system of socioeconomic stability is failing at an incredible rate. Our political systems have become increasingly more corrupt and self-serving, and people are suffering and dying in unimaginable ways. I encourage you to step back and look beyond your own personal problems and situations and realize that we exist not as individuals, but as a worldwide community who shares one single planet that is in chaos.
The world governments and religious elite are very well aware of what is coming and know that they can not and will not provide protection and support to everyone on the planet. They know we are facing an unimaginable global event that will surpass any and all disasters we have ever experienced. In preparation, bunkers and underground shelters are now being built and stocked with food, water and other survival supplies. Seed banks are being constructed to insure future food availability and publicly financed individuals and organizations are taking the steps necessary to ensure that they and a select group of people can and will survive this ordeal. In an attempt to maintain continuos artificial stability and reduce sure and total panic among the general population, entire governments and government-sponsored scientists will become the most adamant critics of the warnings. Many will site Biblical scripture disputing what they do not understand and others will compare 2012 to more recent failed doomsday predictions such as Y2K; knowing full well that this is not a manmade computer glitch, but a real and predictable recurring act of nature. They will insistently deny, discount and discredit the warnings, and will dismiss them as bad science, conspiracy and malicious profiteering.
Despite the lack of official acknowledgment, many are now preparing themselves and their families for the coming disasters, and you may be wise to do the same. This personal preparation is in large part being done under a veil of secrecy so as to deter those who refused to heed the warnings. You should prepare yourself mentally, physically and spiritually for the coming events, and take the steps necessary to insure your future survival. You should concentrate your efforts on food, water, shelter and personal protection and prepare yourself for prolonged or permanent power outages and limited communication. You need to recognize that currency and traditional means of trade are now and will continue to loose their value, and that your ability to purchase necessary supplies will become limited. Most importantly, you need to enjoy the life you are now living, but prepare yourself for the worst, for the worst is yet to come.
Some scholars have estimated that as many as two thirds of the worlds population may perish as a direct or indirect result of the coming events of December 21 2012 and the thirteen-year tribulation leading up to that date. Our current level of technological advancement could be thrust back hundreds even thousands of years, and the ecological and environmental effects of these events will most definitely prove devastating to the way in which we currently live our lives. Survival will supersede comfort, fear will dominate the living and want, need and hope will dictate our daily existence.
As horrifying and unsettling as all this sounds, it could in many ways be perceived as a good thing for those who survive. December 21 2012 and the years leading up to that date will in many ways represent the storm before the calm, and will dramatically and violently usher in a new era of increased understanding and renewed enlightenment. This new beginning will be met with a new sense of peace and will more widely open our eyes to the true meaning of life. We will enter this new age not only with a complete knowledge of where we have been, but with an increased understanding of where we are going and where we need to be in relationship to the basic truths that will once again redefine our existence. We will be forced by need and necessity to look beyond race and religious differences, greed, hate and social status, and our continuing survival will be rooted in our willingness to honor and respect ourselves, our neighbors, our environment and the powers that be.
No, our world and its population will not come to a complete and final end on December 21 2012. We will however be forced to reevaluate and redefine our lives and our association with our planet. Life will be hard but we can take comfort in knowing that Mother Nature will once again reign supreme in her ability to correct what we have so badly taken for granted.

Well for the understanding i have been thrown around like a ragdoll because much of this and guess what im young i shouldnt think about dying i guess not but it wont be the ending and i might be one of the few to survive who knows it might not be as bad as we think. Nobody can guess the future to come specifically but to come i guess you should atleast try and make supplies i guess.

I read your entire article and as I finished I began to think back to my first classes in college. You know the ones where they teach you how to properly write a paper by backing up your claims with factual material and references. You said a lot about NASA, the governments and other organizations planing for the upcoming “disaster” but nothing was backed up by actual fact. Everything in this article seems to be your personal doom filled opinion. If you rewrote this and put links in and references I might have taken it a little more seriously. But for now it seems nothing more than the rantings of a conspiracy theorist. Please put your intellectual mind to better use. There are so many things in the world that could be changed if people like you stopped living in dream land. Perhaps the world wouldn’t be on such a “brink of disaster” if you redirected your passion towards actual change and not doom-saying.

I urge you to read what NASA says about this. Yes the world will end in approximately 4 billion years NOT in 2012. This is scaremongering at its very very worst. The NASA website is
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2003/29dec_magneticfield.htm
Please do not worry about this. Yes there will be an end to the solar cycle as there has been for thousands of millenia, But life on earth will always survive or recover, and yes there may be some effects but it will not mean the end of the human race!!
The article from NASA again is http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2003/29dec_magneticfield.htm
Cheers

This really opened my eyes a little. While I still don’t believe it will be as horrific as you described, I was so wrapped up in the whole “2012 is the end of the world” thing that I didn’t even think about preparing for it. Like you said in the article I also think it’s not going to be the end of the human race, but there’s no doubt of the trouble in the near future. Even if people don’t like it they have got to consider it so they can protect themselves and their family. Reading this has actulally made me feel a little better about life. Maybe I can enjoy it more before 2012. Or maybe I’m being a bit naive, believing something I read on the internet. But I’m just a kid.

We are not able to really know the exact date and time of the end of the world.
Some years ago, i heard that the end of the world will be on the end of the year 1999 (2000), but we are still alive. Natural disasters can occur at any time and at any amplitude. We only need to enjoy our life fully. -

LOOK… all my co workers are talking about this… and yes some of it may seem ppssible given that where i live has never seen a tornado and twisters… in over 70 years. And it has just so happened that both of t hos have happened in less than two weeks apart. But there have been reports of the end of the world for decades, so what makes this different from the rest??
Call me what you may, but i choose to believe in the best and that life will always stay great. But i know that even though i dont’ believe it, if something were to happen, i can’t change the outcome, so i choose to enjoy life and live my life to the greatest.DON’T WORRY ABOUT STRESSING. LIVE YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN’T CHANGE WHAT THE EARTH IS GOING TO DO.
JUST DO YOUR BEST TO MAKE YOUR LIFE AND THE WORLD IN WHICH WE ARE ALL ONE ( AS MENTIONED IN THE ARTICLE) A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL.

I was getiing scared until I read the second to last paragraph and you said this could be a good thing and yes I understand what you mean by that but it is obvious you are one of those people who have been hoping for a chance to be a Phoenix and rise from the ashes. In other words you got too much time on your hands. Like that other person said, give us some stone cold facts if you truly care for our survival.

so.. i have read the entire passage, aswell as the 6 comments to come after. Yes, i do have some strong believes, and some dis believes. in both the passage, and the comments. as far as the world coming to an end ; no, but i do believe there will be lots of lives to be lost. Simply because we’re seing it happen now, before our own eyes. for instance the hurricanes, tornado’s, disease, ect. and acts of violence we put upon our selves like war and terrorism.
with that being said, I would like to discuss a few of the controversial oppinions. he sais in the passage, that there are going to be people that think this is just a scare tactic. well, whether or not there is any thing factual in his particular passage, we see these disasteres happening all over the world all the time. And it just seems as though there happening more often than ever. Therefore, this should not be a scare to anyone. We all should see this coming some time. 2012 or not.
He also sais in the passage. That afterwords, there are going to be big controversial problems with religious believes. Well, theres already people thinking that gods being unfair to people, and saying only god knows when the world is going to end. please people, this is a solar system that we live in.
As far as who ever is saying not to worry about any thing.. Think of it this way. What if it were you that were in one of these natural disasteres and have already died? Well then there wouldnt be anything to worry about now would there? People should be very well aware of what can and possibly will happen to them selves and or the world all the time. Hense the the reason we should value the life we live every day.
Last but not least. People lead to assume that because there is “nothing factual” in his passage, what he is saying is nothing to consider. Well i ask you this. Do you think theres a possibilty that there not broadcasting it everywere simply because they don’t want to cause an uproar? Or because they dont want every body digging holes for the next three years? Or they don’t want every one to “worry”.

I dont care when my life will end, because everyone will die some day.

maybe its the best thing that could ever happen to you.
You never know.
what will the future hold?
we will find out soon enough. -

Oh the power of denial from your critics. All anyone has to do is watch the news, the weather reports, thier own communities and the truth is staring right at them. Yet so many refuse to see it. It’s all happening right now just as you said and it’s only going to get worse. If I survive or not…I want to live the best I can now, just as I have always. Doing good anywhere I can in this perilous time. If I am going down in flames in 2 and half years so be it. All I have is right now and this moment.

It is important that we live our lives in a way which does not take the world we live in for granted only a fool would disagree and true mother nature is much more powerful than we are and just as we have an immune system so does the earth and when the time comes she will heal and we may be the virus that is killed off. dont give me this crap about specific dates and times or mayan calanders these people are just primitive humans, when will people learn no one can predict the future just like no one really knows if god, budda or who ever really exists and if they Im sure he or she would be much happier if we all kept our love for him or her to ourselves instead of pushing it down each others throats and starting wars and spreading fear just like you should keep ya crazy conspiricy theories to your self obviously you feed off suffering i hope your theory does come true but only to the nut cases who are fixated on negativity and religion so that the rest of the world can live in peace, p.s dont hastle me about puntuation or spelling as i just wanted to let you know how your article made me feel not demonstate my level of intelligence.

I have a step daughter who’s boyfriend believes this stuff. She has a 10 year old daughter who hears him rant about this and now she believes it too. How tragic is it that a 10 year old believes we are all going to die when she is 13? What do people do when they see no hope? I’ll tell you, the become self centered and anit-social. All these predictions you make could well become a self-fulfilling prophesy. You are a fear monger and you do not back up ANYTHING you say with any direct evidence. You site “government officials” and “many scientists” and “Experts”. That is not scientific. Cult leaders, crackpots and power hungry individuals have used “end of the world” philosophy for thousands of years for their own ends. In my life (52 years) I’ve seen dozens of groups and individuals predicting gloom and doom, world ending, and other apocalyptic theories. Some of them commit mass suicide (Remember Jim Jones?) Now I have a Granddaughter who believes she’s going to die in 3 years because of her mom’s ignorant idiotic boyfriend spouting this unscientific, unfounded and unproven nonesense. You are despicable.

The greatest scientific discovery of all time has been made in Brooksville, Florida. Weeki Wachee Springs is now Mary Magdalene Springs. Not officailly, but it is. The Lord is risen. And He is an alien to this generation. The end has begun. There is going to be a major shift in human attitudes. Going to hell is not really an immoral thing, it is a question of supreme stupidity.
The first step in communicating with an alien is understanding exactly what it means to communicate. It is pattern recognition. Weather patterns have been coherently altered. Weather patterns. And behavioral patterns of animals, when I say animals, I’m including humans. They are beasts made of carbon, atomic number 6-6-6. I’ve been profiling humans for a long time and I got their number, and my name is on all. My name is Mark. -

Okay people, get real!!!!!!! YES the world will eventually come to an end! But anyone who are believers in the Bible would know that (or have heard that) no one knows, even in heaven, the exact date the world is coming to an end, NOT EVEN CHRIST HIMSELF, Gods own son. So sure, Nostradamus and the Mayans have predicted 2012 to be the “Year we Perish,” but think about it and think really hard, if not 1 angel in heaven or GODS ONLY CHILD, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, knows when the world will end, what makes you think a mere human, even though smart at times, and even though some of Nostradamus’ predictions have been dead on (I’ll grant him that), what makes you think that any one of these people or civilizations know when the end will come. I mean you’re acting like people did in 2000. Did anything happen? Are we still here? Yes and Yes. Now I will grant that something catastrophic or life altering may happen. But for you to base your beliefs solely upon man is ridiculous! Live your life people and be grateful that you have it. And trust, if God has a hand in the end, and he will, it will be alot more to it than ony one man, or civilization, could possibly imagine! I encourage all of you “believers” to stop believing man, who are also making money off of this, and pick up the bible and read it. and id just about bet that this comment wont even be posted so I just sat here and typed it for no reason.

You are correct.
Jesus said that no man knows the hour or the day of the End of Days. Even Jesus didn’t know. Only his father did.But Jesus added that he hoped that those who will live in the Final Generation would look for the signs in the hope their suffering would not be so great.

End of the world? Impossible is what I say. According to what I heard about from my 8th grd teachers the end of the world should not be for another something billion years when the sun burns out. Not in 2012. Like I dont care about any silly prodictions that some people made a long time ago. Wake up! Smell the coffie! We are no where near the end of the world and that is final!

Dionna McGimpsey said on September 14th, 2009 at 11:32 am
Im not trying to be disrespectful Cathy but I encourage you to buy a bible, doesnt have to be flashy, it can even be a pocket sized version of it. If you dont feel like reading the whole thing fine! Just read the Book of Revelation from front to back. Now if you’re a believer of God and his son Jesus Christ and you believe that God sent his only son to die on the cross for the sake of our sins, so that we dont have to burn in a lake of fire, then you should also believe what it says in the Book of Revelations. And if you arent a believer then you should still read it and note what it says about non-believers. There are always scholars trying to come up with some scientific way to explain how and why things happen. But let me ask you this: What are those scientists going to say when people dissappear into thin air; off buses, planes, trains, their cars, everywhere! There are going to be people eating at random restaurants with friends and in seconds one of the friends are gone. What will scientists and scholars make up to explian that? Well let me tell you this. Only one person has the power to do something like that and that person is God. Now it does say in the Book of revelations that even after God has suffered the people so much, there will still be nonbelievers. Cathy Im telling you, read it! PLEASE, for your sake! The things that are going to happen to the nonbelievers are far worse than any man can imagine. People will beg for death to come but they shall not recieve it. It only takes a person to confess by mouth that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and that they believe he was sent to die on the cross for us! Read the Bible and you WILL see that this world is knocking on the ends door. So you have a choice, believe the word of man or believe God! And think about it, this thought is what caused me to be saved, people on this earth suffer and go through so much. All the sickness and stuff people go through every day. But then theres the good things, like having kids, mothers, fathers, good memories. Through the good and the bad, why in the world would you be put on this earth without the promise of an afterlife and have to go through the ups and downs of life. Do you really think you’re just going to die and thats it. If thats all you plan for, I sincerely feel sorry for you! If you have kids and you dont believe in an afterlife, then youre basically telling yourself you just had them to enjoy them throughout your physical life. I dont know about you, but i have plans for me and my two year old even after we die and God willing we’re going together beacuse I dont want to see the things the Book of Revelation has in store for the non believers. Do YOU?

Ive been reading up on this quite a bit lately. While reading the article I had goosebumps. Especially when talking about the growing feeling inside of me. For many years now Ive felt a need to learn how to survive without power and technology. Ive felt a growing desire to prepare. Many people dont care for how I feel, and what I believe. I first read the whole bible in my early teen years. I read the whole thing again about 10 years ago. The only book in the bible I have read since is the Book of Revelations. Each time I read it, the verses seem to reach out to me. Many responders of the articles I have read all ask for proof. They say Jesus doesnt even know. My question is “How do you know what Jesus knew? All we know is what we read and what were told. There is one constant in this universe that cannot be denied. No matter what race or religion you are. Math. Numbers dont lie. The Maya’s knew numbers and they understood the stars. Everything in our lives is on a very specific mathmatical cycle. Even the parts were not aware off. My advice is to prepare for the worst. Hope for the best.

It must continue. We must as a human race be aware of the possibilities and be prepared to ensure the survival of life.

I think something terrible is going to happen at 21/12/2012. No one can imagine the size of the disaster. I think millions of people will die, most cities will be destroyed and about 50% of the plants and animals in the world will be extinct. I believe that this will be the worst disaster since 65 million years ago when dinosaus disappeared. But fortunately this won’t be the end of the world. A new civilization will rise.

Human beings should look upward to the stars, for majestic peace and grandeur rule there. As though by immutable law and order, the infinite and everlasting changes take place there over days, months, years, and beyond for centuries, millennia and millions of years. We should also look downward upon the planet for there, as well is creational activity and endless becoming and passing away, and life and existence, toward newly developing forms. Greatness, excellence and beauty rule harmoniously where nature is left alone. We as a society must turn around and become reacquainted with the never-ending principles of life.

Wow, when I come across something that’s well written, I take notice. It’s obvious that you are very intelligent and level-headed. You are a beautiful writer, and I really enjoyed reading your article. Thank you for writing and sharing it with us (along with your website!)
Regarding those who say the article is lacking “proof….” I would say all the sources are right here on this website?? I’ve come across back up sources of just about each point that was discussed.

well i dont beleive that the world will have its period all over civilization quite like tornadoes every where and meteors blowing us up, but this article has a few good points, im still gonna keep livin my life to the fullest and if the world does have its period….. well so be it, the human race WILL survive and WILL proceed to better ages. but one part of this article did creep me out a bit, you know when he was talkin about something like your gonna remember a song and then hear it on the radio? well fore the past 3-4 years i would just be chillin out with some friends and a subject comes up and i usually compare it to an episode of family guy, well when i go home that day or the next day or whatever i would sit down and watch tv, it just so happens that family guy is on so i decide to watch it, and almost EVERY time its the episode i was talkin to my friends about!! so im actually quite interested and plan to do a report about these kind of occurances, so if any one wants e-mail me at takedown.3@hotmail.com just share your experiences i would love to hear them

I have heard may things about 2012, I found this site today and I started to read all that this person has to say.. I have read the comments, Everyone can believe what they want to, As for me, I do not believe that the human race will end, I don’t believe that it will be the “End of he world” But what I do believe is that some things will change. OR I could be 120% wrong, I love my life, family, and my country just as much as anyone here reads. You know earth could do a sudden “shift” if that is I guess an OKAY word to use for it. I reread the article while writing this and saw that we must act as one as a communite, society, and world, But then I read that we must prepare ourselfs and our families, What about our neighbors, other loved ones who may live far away, Does it suggest that we fend for ourselfs. If what is said truly happens on the date December 21st, 2012, Then we must act together as a world to help each other, Help a random person off the street, Get someone back on there feet. But unlesss we can change our own attitude then we may end up destroying ourselves. I reallt just went off topic A LOT in this and ranted a bit, and really left some topics, but thats me and I am only human. I can go on all day but I got a date tonight and I am going to live my life with a smile like I do everyday, and when december 21st, 2012 comes around I will sit back whit my family and wait for tomorrow… And when it comes, A new doomsday, end of the world or end of the human race itam will pop up and people will have the same reaction as this. I’m young, Only 18, So I am ready to live this life to the fullest today and tomorrow. Finally if the human does end then I will be wrong. I will happly accept it
Thank you for taking the time to read my bullshit, I really don’t care how bad you bash me for my lack of focus on certain subjects, But WHATEVER.
From, John

I don’t believe in any of this … people cannot predict what will happen in the future … the only man who knows is GOD …. god don’t even promise us tomorrow…. so really live life like there is no tomorrow because god does not promise you another day… you should all have faith in the LORD …. if you show him your faith everything will be okay…. (if this does happen) god will protect the ones that believe and have hope.. he won’t let anything or anyone hurt his people ….
love the one who has faith …

I dont think the world is going to end in 2012. I really think this is just a bunch of talk. If anything we might experience some unusual weather in unusual places, and have some global changes, but other than that its nothing, GOD will come and do what he got to do when he is ready so really no one knows.

If we are so nieve as to think that the human race can and will continue to let the greedy and vicious people that make all the decisions, continue to do so the few of us that can will rise up and try to take back and what we can.To do so will take such extreme measures that the scale of christianity will be left behind and chaos will become the rule, hence the end could result.

I find your article interesting and it does make one think.
But I have some serious questions that you must answer, not to me, but to God. Do you believe that is Bible is the true Word of God” Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? Do you believe that man cannot have a proper relationship with God apart from Jesus Christ? Do you understand God’s ultimate plan for mankind” He wants everyone who choses to come to Him through His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ. These who accept are spiritual reborn and become a part of His family. One day (soon) He will come again and take His people (all true believers) home to be with Him forever. Then He will cause the world to fall into great tribulation such as the world has never seen. This period will last for seven years and will have a duel purpose: (1) to bring the Jews (God’s chosen people) back to Him and (2) to judge the nations (all non-believers) He gives all of us a choice. Accept Him and be with God forever or reject Him and be eternally separated from God. Jesus Christ will physically return after the tribulation, to set up His kingdom of earth and reign as King of kings and LORD of Lords for a period of one thousand years. After that God’s final judgment will take place, all believers with God forever and all unbelievers will be caste into the lake of fire. Life on this world will never end. One day everything on the earth will be made anew and we will dwell with God forever.
Everyone in the world falls into one or two groups: you are either saved or lost. You must make a choice. Do you believe and accept God’s salvation, or do you reject it and go your own way?
God gave us His Holy Word, (the Bible) so that we could understand that God created us to be His family, and that we could have a personal relation with God. Because of Adam’s sin all mankind is born into this world spiritual dead having no relationship with God. Jesus Christ, God’s Son had to pay the ultimate penalty for sin by His death, bural, and resurrection. All who believe in their hearts, and confess that Jesus Christ is our LORD
and Savior with be saved (delivered from the penalty of sin, and given the Spirit of God to dwell in their souls).David Wiles

Well all i can say is i’m shocked and to be honest quite disgusted in this whole article. Its no wonder more and more people are on anti depressants or turning to drink and drugs and to be FRANK what do our children have to look forward to? all this has just made me more aware of the truly sick world we live in and how very easy it is to destroy the very young beautiful minds and souls of our future generation. You all talk about god and jesus christ our lord, honestly people who the fuck is he? in my opinion the majority of wars and pure suffering has been because of religion or purely mans greed and the continuous pressure on our young children to have to except and have it drummed into their minds from such a young age all the horrible things that are going on in this world, has this world seriously lost the plot or what? I love and believe in me, and its my duty as a loving mother to teach my children to love and believe in themselves only then can they full fill true happiness and the true meaning of life because lets face it if we all listened to the crap that’s shoved in our face’s every single day then why wait untill 2012? we might as well already be DEAD.

Only the CREATOR knows when the world will end, I believe December 21st 2012 (even though the planets are expected to align on that date) will be normal like 09/09/2009 or 01/01/2000. Other words the world may end today, tomorrow or , 100 years from 2012. PRAY!!!

Michael said on October 19th, 2009 at 2:47 pm
It may just be a scare to get many to repent of sins. David’s message is a good message don’t wait to accept Jesus Christ as your savior do it now. The world is unpredictable, but as long as we pray everything will be alright. God will never allow any thing bad to happen to us unless we fail to depend on him or fail to pray. It works.

Shelley….thank’s there is atleast one other normal person out there being stupid enough to read this website, completely agree with what you say, read a book written by a mayan expert when i was at school about 15 years ago, and in this book there was no mention of the end of the world, only the end of the mayan long count calander, which could not be extended beyond that date because the numbers became too large and complex….most mayan experts simply believe that december 21st 2012 was the end of the mayan calander and the date the calander would be re-set to make it easier to plan their (mayans) religious days in advance like they always had…thats of course if the mayans had still been around in 2012. There is only one worrying thing about this date and its the fact that the planets align, which could actualy cause the poles to flip due to the increase in gravitational force…..However, its highly unlikely to happen on one day, scientists are not sure but believe it takes thousands of years for it to be completed from start to finish….One thing is for sure, when everyone wakes up on the 22nd of december 2012 they will all be thinking why did i waste my time reading this cr*p…..

I am sorry to say that 12/21/12 is the end of the world as we know it! I have known this since I was seven years old and I am now 54. I am Armenian with my family seeing many events that have come to pass. If only this would come to pass, it would be a blessing. To survive it would be a curse. Can you understand or even imagine what you are up against? The power of the Universe with its cosmic particles has ruled for billions of years and we, a species by chance and fortune of fate will forever be forgotten as somewhere, sometime, in space another will rise to fall all over again. See ya in the sunshine…..No need to prepare, just enjoy the time we have and don’t sweat the small stuff either.

I have heard a lot about 2012. In my own opinion I believe 100% “everything in life is a cycle”, but something as a part of this cycle is coming down, and I pretty sure too that is not going to be the end of the humans race at all, but is going to be a new cycle. I think that what the maya civilization did about predictions, was to get that info that our “before civilization” had and “gave” to them. The mayans had not instruments enough to “investigate” the out-space and to conclude those exactly predictions, I believe they did prove it and based on it they made its own calender, and others fantastic approaches. To survive this new event, people need prove of it, sorry for them. It is going to be too late for some, for others, even those you believe you are prepare, nothing is going to be sure enough to survive.

I know there is a movie coming out all about 2012, but if you really want to see what life might be like after significant earth changes, go see ‘The Road’. It basically asks the one fundamental question behind all these sites, posts, and blogs – If you knew how bad things were going to get, would you really want to survive in the aftermath. It has already gotten Oscar attention, so you know it won’t be just a bunch of computer generated carnage. Read more about it here:

Every one know about the end, as it is also mentioned in the Bible. All we need to do is to repent, be good and prepare ourselves for the final Judgement .

Look, i understand what you are trying to say in this article, but lets stop for a minute.
The world changes everyday in our more personal comforting life, but it does change in nature as well. I personally believe that we will destory the world in 2012 because people keep going on about how life will end, when simply we focus so much on this that we will go insane and either kill each other or ourselves.i wont do it but think about how easy it is to make a person lose their mind over this. Im going to see the new movie thats coming out about 2012 cause, why not? anyway, believe what you want. get prepared, forget it,or pretty much do whatever you have to do to grasp this subject. Remember its just theories and small things that scientist put together. -

Really good site! I pray this terrible volcanic ash cloud will leave us alone. My neice is stuck in Italy and she is running out of money. I heard the ash will be staying for at least another 3 weeks but I don’t know if I should believe it. Does anyone know if it’s true?
